About Us

Browns Boutique Hotel is a delightful purpose-built hotel, originally built and owned by Queenstown locals Nigel and Bridget Brown in 2000. Gillian and Donald the current owners and hosts are New Zealanders who have lived in Queenstown for many years.

With a long tourism history in Queenstown, Taupo and Nelson, Gillian and Donald's experience comes from 30 years in hospitality, accommodation and attractions such as the Shotover Jet Group, now Ngai Tahu Tourism.

Rates are inclusive of GST (12.5%). Tariff includes a gourmet cooked or continental breakfast daily. Child policy: Rooms are suitable for 2 adults only. Families are welcome where children are able (old enough) to share a second bedroom alone.

Cancellation Policy:

Due to size 30% of the total booking will be charged if the room is cancelled within thirty days and not on sold. Full payment will be taken if cancelled within fourteen days. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance.
